They have spearheaded various programs and policies of critical importance in their recent associations with the government. Besides, they have been a long time member of expert committees in the domain of digital heath, financial inclusion and urban mobility.
Jai Prakash
Mr Jai Prakash is a post graduate in Management from IIM Lucknow. He had served at various ministries across different departments at NITI Aayog, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, & Ministry of Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Fertilizers. He has also served as the Head of Government Affairs in leading marketplaces and technology companies in India.
NITI Aayog, erstwhile Planning Commission is the apex think tank of the Govt of India. The experts at NITI Aayog have been involved in the ideation, scope & implementation of many flagship Government programs including Digital India, Atal Innovation Mission, Medical Education Reform, National Energy Policy, National Strategy on Artificial , Online Dispute Resolution, Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles II (FAME II), Production Linked Scheme et al.
Engaging in stakeholders consultations to generate actionable feedback on a regular basis was a part of Jai’s mandate at NITI Aayog. In his tenure with the ministry of defence, he worked extensively for ministerial collaborations and partnerships with the foreign governments. To regulate few policy issues, he facilitated the Google street view with the three wings of the forces.
He was also prolific in representing government views with the global investors, investment facilitation cells, export promotion councils and industry bodies like FICCI, CII and NASSCOM on investment footprints, strategic plans and partnerships. policy of reforms and innovation. Right from recruiting young professionals to conceptualising AIM, Startup India; his tenure at NITI Aayog initiatives were about many firsts.

Dr. Debanshu Roy
Dr. Debanshu Roy is an alum of Grant Medical College and JJ group of hospitals in Mumbai. He is also a Fulbright Scholar in Health Economics and Policy at the University of Texas at Houston. He has played a critical role in the policy making around the COVID 19 management at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Debanshu has a decade of experience in working with the government stakeholders at the State and National level. He has been working closely with the e-health department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (GoI) to develop the narrative around adoption of AI in Healthcare in India. He has also supported the National Health Authority for the National Digital Health Mission implementation. NDHM is the most radical shift in healthcare operations in the History of health programs in India and requires meticulous engagement of all stakeholders including State govts, National govt, and the private sector in a joint exercise in policy making and execution of health services in the country.
Under the COVID crisis, Debanshu has been a key resource at the National COVID command centre, working directly with the Joint Secretary and the Secretary at the Ministry of Health. His mandate was mapping the global trend, getting insights on Indian disease transmission, Creating guidelines as well as maintaining meticulous communication strategies within and between ministries as well as between the center and the states.
Debanshu has worked across the spectrum with medical device startups, education policy organizations, Big 4 consulting companies, National govt programs in India and Bangladesh, as well as state funded programs in the US. He has been a valuable leader in all his roles and continues to be a thought leader in the policy space in India.
